A Mumbai court has denied bail to the driver of a BEST bus involved in a fatal accident last month, finding that he was driving in a rash and negligent manner. The court rejected the driver's claim that the accident was due to a mechanical fault in the bus, citing a report from the Regional Transport Office (RTO) which found no evidence of such a fault. The accident, which occurred near Kurla railway station, claimed seven lives and injured over 40 people.
'A few answers for the reason of the crash will be known -- whether it was a technical fault, design issue, human error etc.'

The Punjab Police has busted a narco-terror module and arrested four individuals, including a father-son duo, recovering 4 kilograms of heroin.
